Before Samsung introduced its smart watch, Jordan Liss already had come up with a watch for kids looking to get smarter.
The Northbrook native, now a student at the University of Michigan, came up with the Testing Timer, a watch aimed at kids prepping for college entrance exams. The watches have the times for the various tests on the SAT and ACT built in, so students can get used to pacing themselves for the timed tests.
