Campaign: Conversion and Rebranding
Take an existing succesful restaurant known in the community for pizza and Italian favorites and help build buzz around a new ‘European’ themed menu and a new name.
We created a logo with some ‘old world flair’ and a distinctive tie to European roots without leaning too far into the past. We developed an online teaser page to generate excitement about the pending rebrand and to gather customer contact information. And in early 2013, we’ve launched the new Himmel’s site. The site also allows Himmel’s staff to easily make menu, news, and events updates to the site whenever they need to.
Working with our publicist partner, the rebrand generated strong buzz before the new brand was even revealed. We worked with social media and SEM / SEO to ensure customers loyal to the previous brand learned about the relaunch and became customers of the rebranded restaurant, as well. The emails that were gathered during the “sneak peak” campaign have been a valuable tool in announcing events to customers, and provided the starting point for a new customer loyalty program.
